Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We had a one week long trip in Iceland where the weather was not in our favor. Ben had hoped to surprise Angel with a proposal while watching the northern lights one evening on the trip. Ben kept the engagement ring hidden in their backpack just in case but, it rained the entire week we were there and every night it was too cloudy to see anything. On the very last day of the trip, after a romantic dinner in Reykjavik, Ben decided it was his last opportunity to pop the question. As Angel was brushing her teeth in their hotel, and Ben was packing up their luggage, Ben decided to ask Angel to come and join him on the bed. (Angel had just received news before the trip that it would be nearly impossible for her to conceive) Ben sat Angel down and told her that he wanted to spend his life with her no matter what their health challenges were, and even if they would never be able to have biological children together. Angel cried, Ben cried, and she said, “Yes!” She had been waiting for him to ask since their last international trip in Patagonia. This engagement and trip were so magical, Angel ended up finding out she was pregnant two months later!

Ask for help! You’ll be amazed at how many of your friends and family have great ideas, are crafty, and enjoy helping!
