Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
I took Ashley back to where we had our first date. There are steps by the Huron River that we always walk to or float by. It was a cold day to go hiking, but Ashley still agreed. I think she was suspicious I might propose! I had the ring in my left pocket, so I made sure to walk on her left, fearing she might see the box. I also hired a photographer to take our pictures. As you’ll see in our photos, Ashley was really surprised!

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Planning the Ceremony. We both come from different cultures and faith traditions and we’re having a lot of fun blending them together to create something special for both of us!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Exercise and travel! I travel a lot for work and earned a buddy pass through Southwest Airlines last year. We’ve committed to taking one trip a month where we don’t talk about the wedding at all.
