Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
He proposed during our last weekend together before he left for his second deployment. We went to dinner, ate way more than we should, and decided we should go for a walk. He took me to my favorite spot in town by the river, the Discovery Centre. Unfortunately, the place was packed! At that point, I was so confused why he was refusing to go home and wanted to continue to drive around. We finally arrived at Hanbury Hill, a hidden gem where a bench overlooks the entire city. We talked about everything. Life, love, plans. As we were getting ready to leave, he proposed!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Saying, “Yes!” to the dress.

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We’ve had two years to plan our wedding. So, taking things one step at a time has been the best way for us!
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
The RSVP list! I also that it’s so simple to use, all on one page. I know my family won’t have a problem figuring it out.

Our wedding day is the beginning of forever for us, as a couple. It’s also an amazing reason to have a fantastic party surrounded by loved ones!
