    Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?

    After a long day of horseback riding in Masai Mara, Kenya, around a campfire and some nice champagne, he gave me a traditional beaded necklace. It is just like the one a Masai woman passes to her daughter before she gets married.

    What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?

    Eventually finding the venue and falling in love with the old monastery near my childhood village.

    How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?

    We are just keeping it as simple as possible. Quality, not quantity.

    What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?

    It is so up to date and convenient for sharing any details. Also, having pictures makes it so lively and inspiring!

    What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?

    Do not hesitate to create your own sections! Add all of the details for the location of the venue and put up a lot of pictures.

    At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?

    The energy used to achieve a joyful wedding and celebration of love is the same energy that should bring joy every day afterward. Love and joy should be celebrated every day!
