After a long day of horseback riding in Masai Mara, Kenya, around a campfire and some nice champagne, he gave me a traditional beaded necklace. It is just like the one a Masai woman passes to her daughter before she gets married.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Eventually finding the venue and falling in love with the old monastery near my childhood village.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We are just keeping it as simple as possible. Quality, not quantity.
