Christine and Lauren met through mutual friends at Neshaminy Mall during those rough and tumble mall rat years. The rest, as they say, is history.
Give us the details! When? Where? How?
Lauren sent me more of an elopement proposal, we went with that idea for a while but couldn’t contain our excitement until we announced it to everyone. I told her she needed to propose AGAIN the RIGHT WAY! I came home one day and there was trail of rose petals, candles and balloons that led to my beautiful wife to be.
Love lasts forever.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
I think the best part about planning our wedding has definitely been the first steps from finding the perfect location, to tasting the food, picking our colors, and of course tasting the wine. It has really brought us closer in the sense that we both planned and worked so hard for this.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Christine is more of the hot headed one in the relationship, Lauren is more laid back so we balance each other out. We had a big cushion under our belt before we even started looking into venues so it really hasn’t been a stressful journey yet! Everything pretty much just fell into place and its amazing at how much we both agreed on.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
We love how easy and accessible it is for RSVP’ing. We also like how customizable it is with being able to add your own pictures and colors.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Definitely utilize the RSVP section and why not make it look pretty as your doing it.
At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy should last forever. What does that mean to you?
Love lasts forever—at least our love does!
