How did the two of you meet?
We met at his sister’s wedding!

Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
This past December, I joined Zach and his family on a skiing/snowboarding trip to Colorado. After our third day on the slopes, he took me up to the mountaintop to see the view. As we were looking into the night, he started to read me a letter. At the end of the letter, he dropped down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was crying at the beauty of the moment and his love for me. I said YES! of course. When we get to the bottom of the mountain, I found out that his family knew the whole time! It was magical.

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
I think it’s going to be the food. It’s a brunch wedding so we are going to incorporate a cereal bar (among other delicious goodies)!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Our two cats often act as stress relievers. That… and wine.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
I love how intuitive the site is to use. I’m having a lot of fun designing our website!
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Click on everything and have patience with yourself. Be sure to take breaks so as not to get overwhelmed.
