Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Taran doesn’t like to be embarrassed in public. So, one regular night we were chilling at home watching a playlist of videos on the YouTube Chromecast. On came one video that had all of his friends and family (including several in other timezones) all jump on, to help me ask for his hand in marriage.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
The venues! It took a bit to find the one that was right for us, but once we did, we fell in love with its rustic, antique store, aesthetic.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
By doing it together. When one task or problem seems insurmountable for one, the other is onboard to help delegate, console, and clarify the task at hand. Realizing you’re not alone in this is half the battle.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
The Guest List! Getting to choose who has VIP power and how much VIP power they have is fantastic. It’s been a huge help toward planning and will be an even bigger help toward seating!
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Never be afraid to chat with Joy representatives! Even late at night, I could get great, easy, and friendly pointers to help navigate and utilize every feature to its fullest potential.
At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?
Even after the rings are on and family goes home, the memory and fondness of that truly special day, will last and last and last!
