Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Sepehr, thoughtful as ever, planned to propose in Porto, Portugal in the beautiful Livreria Lello. I had discovered this on Pinterest to be essentially the real-life version of the breathtaking library in “Beauty and the Beast” (and therefore a place I thoroughly wanted to be). This plan was sadly foiled by a veritable crush of fellow visitors (magically absent in all the Pinterest photos), which prevented Sepehr from safely being able to get down on one knee. Fortunately, Sepehr rallied with an equally fabulous Plan B, proposing while we enjoyed a tranquil moment overlooking the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Having an excuse to work together closely with my love, my beloved mother, and closest friends on all of the different wedding details has been a joy.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Yoga! haha. On a more serious note, I am fortunate to have wonderful support in my love, my mother, my amazing bridal party and my incredible wedding planner. So, I haven’t really been stressed because I have so many people helping me to make our dream wedding a reality.

What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Play around with all of the different parts of the website. You’ll find that you want to include things you initially hadn’t thought about on your website!
