Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Exactly six months after our first date he took me to his parents lake house in Little Washington, NC. He walked me out to the end of the pier and I knew something was up because he was so quiet. He got down on one knee and I think I yelled, “Yes!” I was just so excited for him to stand up so I could kiss him. The best part was that he had hired a photographer to hide on the next pier over! We have amazing pictures of the pure joy on my face and we were also able to get a little engagement photo session in! I later found out he had asked my sister to take me so we could get our nails done that week (on him) because they knew I would hate to get engaged without my nails done.

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
I have waited my whole life to plan my wedding with the man of my dreams. Every little decision I make I am reminded that this is real. I really found my one!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
I don’t know if I do! I am just doing the best I can, and planning ahead as much as possible. It is even more difficult because we are planning our wedding in my hometown, Nebraska!
