Joy Proposal Story: Kaitlyn & Brandon

Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?

Brandon came up with a secret plan for us to take pictures in front of the most memorable events and places in our relationship to put a picture book together. He took me to our first date restaurant and various other places, leading to a public park that we had previously taken pictures at. At the park, there is a little hill where our favorite picture was taken. He led me to the top of the hill and got down on one knee! I started laughing (as I do when I get really excited!) and then began to cry with joy! Little did I know, Brandon had the photographer from our pictures before, hiding behind a tree to capture the whole proposal which was always a dream of mine! We then went to both of our parents’ to show off the ring and give them the details!

At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?

We know that the wedding is only one day, but the marriage is forever and that’s the most important thing. I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Joy can be found in every situation, good or bad if you look for it!
