Give us the details! When? Where? How?
We both love the water—that’s why we live in Florida! Ben took me on the wave runner into the Gulf of Mexico. It was the perfect day. There were dolphins everywhere in the emerald green water. We had a blast. Then, we took the wave runner to the restaurant where we had our first date. Afterwards, we went back to the dock to watch the sunset. He had wine and chairs already out on the dock once we returned. As we were watching the sunset, he stood up and asked me to marry him! And of course, I said yes!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
I am really enjoying planning the ceremony. For the ceremony, I will be arriving on a boat with my dad. We will walk down a long dock and get married in the gardens of my parent’s backyard. We are having a close family friend marry us. Every detail of the ceremony will be purposeful and meaningful.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
My mom is a huge help. I could not plan a wedding without her. She helps out tremendously.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
I am happy I can send out email Save The Dates and Reminders through the website. Also, it will be convenient for the guests to have all the wedding information.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
I would say, go through each category with your fiancé and really take the time to fill out each section. The more information you can give your guests, the less headache you will have later on.

By choosing to marry Ben, I know my days will be filled with an unparalleled sense of happiest. Our wedding is one day, but the decision to marry each other last forever. I couldn’t be happier!
