Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
James and I had just moved to Indianapolis, where I am in my OB/GYN residency training. We had bought a house and it happened to be his birthday, so both of our parents were visiting for the weekend. We had a cookout with our family and as we were sitting down to eat, he stood and gave a speech. The next thing I knew he was down on one knee, and he proposed. Of course, I said, “Yes!”

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Being able to take time off together in our busy schedules to plan different aspects of the wedding.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
I don’t, but James tries to keep me in check!
