Working at the Sheraton in Downtown Phoenix. Lauren was a cocktail server and Ian was a restaurant server.
How long have you been together?
We celebrated 6 years on May 14, 2017!
Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
It was New Year’s Eve 2016 in Tucson; we went down to the Westin with our corgi puppy for a little staycation. It was very intimate and casual; I think I (Lauren) was in a bathrobe. Ian ordered champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries and then took me out on the patio. We were both crying within seconds!

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Doing everything together –especially the catering tasting. 🙂
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We made a pact at the beginning to always keep the overall goal of the wedding in mind: All we really want is a great celebration with our family and friends.

Exactly what we’re trying to keep in mind throughout the planning process. We made a rule when we started planning our wedding that if we won’t remember an item a year from our wedding, there is no need to stress about it now… we want to create a relationship and memories that will last a lifetime!
