Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
It was my 28th birthday and he took me to all my favorite places in Chicago. He popped the question that night! He had a photographer waiting to take pictures of the moment, then after he proposed, he walked me down a street to where my brother and sister (who live 6 hours away in Cleveland) were hiding! It was so thoughtful of him to have them there. Then they had planned a surprise engagement/birthday party waiting for me with some of our closest friends and family. One of the most precious memories I will cherish forever!

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Planning and working on things together! It is so fun and I really love our teamwork.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
It’s fun for us, but when I do get stressed Luke is always there for me. He’s there to help me and encourage me to not get overwhelmed.
