Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
He proposed in the kitchen, very intimate and thoughtful. His plan was to take me to dinner, but he was too excited to show me the ring and got down on one knee before we left on our date.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Choosing our venue. We chose only the 2nd place that we toured, and it felt meant to be. We both agreed and signed a contract that day!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We try not to take it too seriously. At the end of the day, all that matters is saying I do while being surrounded by family. We keep reminding ourselves that all the other stuff is fluff, and will not make or break our big day!
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
Very easy, i love the templates which are great for someone who does not know where to begin with this type of thing. I love the layout of the site and app, looks great when viewing as a guest. I also like the option for guests to interact through RSVP feature or leaving comments/photos for us.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Take your time and review all options on the site. Start making your site early and ask for feedback from friends or bridesmaids before making the site live. Opinions matter!
At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?
Sounds like the definition of a marriage to me! I have been with my future husband for 10 years and have never looked back. I hope my joy continues forever.
