Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We both knew we wanted a private proposal from the start of our relationship. One morning I came downstairs and found a love letter from Ryan, asking me to marry him. Ryan was on one knee with our two dogs next to him. He caught me by completely by surprise, I was still in my pajamas! We spent the day celebrating our love together. It was such a special and intimate moment that we both will never forget.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Meeting with our photographer, Rachel. We were very nervous about finding the right photographer but she has exceeded all of our expectations! We have been able to form a wonderful relationship with her, and can’t wait for her to capture our special day.

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We are planning a destination wedding, and at times it can be overwhelming. Making sure that we take a step back, and do things we love together unrelated to the wedding is so important!
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
We love the user-friendly interface that Joy has. It has made the process of designing a wedding website so easy and fun!

What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Ask all the questions, and take your time to include every detail for your guests.
At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?
We will look back at our wedding day and cherish the joyful memories that are made with our closest family and friends. We have always found joy in each other, and intend to continue to find joy every day after our wedding! We are very excited about this next chapter of our lives.
