How did the two of you meet?
Scuba diving – we both love being in the water and going on adventures, so this activity brought us together!
Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Aaron had been thinking about a bunch of different proposal ideas. Soon after he picked up a ring, we were cozy on the couch one evening chatting, laughing and everything felt just right. He spontaneously asked Mila to marry him with a beautiful sapphire and diamond ring. She said ‘yes’ without missing a second – it was perfect!

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
So far, we have really enjoyed putting together a day that feels like ‘us’. With the ocean as our color theme and a party we know our family and friends are going to really enjoy with great food, games, and dancing!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Very simply: Our timeline, with to-dos and lots of lists. We’re putting a lot of time in to making sure we stay ahead and we also plan days in advance to take time off to relax with each other.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
We love the RSVP system and how easy it was to set up our site for our day.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
The app is amazing! I would recommend it to your guests along with your hashtag to track pictures from your day. It’s the best!

We find joy in being together creating our everyday life with love, humor, and honesty. We are excited to celebrate our love and happiness with our family and friends at our wedding, but we are even more excited about our ‘forever’ as soulmates, accomplices in mischief, and everything that goes with our future together!
