Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Daniel and I lived in Florida for three years. Our families live in the northeast and we were traveling to surprise my mom for mother’s day and her birthday, which fell on the same day. After surprising my mom, we were all going out for dinner to celebrate. As we were getting ready to leave, I noticed Dan had a lot of items in his pocket. I asked him why he had all of those things in his pocket and why didn’t he move them around. He began to take the items out of his pocket when he handed me a box. For some reason, I thought it was his box for the cuff links he bought a few days prior. He asked me to open the box, and that is when he asked me to marry him. I was so shocked, all I could say was, “Are you crazy?”. After the shock wore off, I said, “Yes!” It was the greatest weekend ever!

At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?
Although I am looking forward to the big day, I am more looking forward to all of the days afterward! I get to spend the rest of my days with my best friend and partner.
