Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Mike surprised Nilam with a Caribbean cruise for their fourth anniversary. The cruise itinerary included visiting Grand Turks, San Juan, St Kitts and ended in St Maarten, a place she always wanted to go. The last stop happened to be on February 16th, their anniversary. Mike thought it was the perfect opportunity to pop the question in St Maarten while celebrating four years together. Mike planned a surprise photo shoot at sunset and when he got down on one knee to ask Nilam to marry him, the photographer captured every moment of the proposal!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Seeing it all slowly come together! We are having a fusion wedding- Hindu and Catholic. The Hindu ceremony will be in Toronto and the Catholic ceremony will be a destination, in Mexico.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We stay focused on the end goal. It’s not about the wedding, it’s about the marriage and building our empire together!
