How did the two of you meet?
We meet in medical school!

Donald invited some of our closest friends to an adventure/spa resort in Austin, called Travaasa. We spent the first few days there doing a bunch of outdoorsy activities like hiking, rope courses, hatchet throwing, and archery. On the last night there, Donald proposed to me right before we met up with our friends at dinner!

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Meeting incredible vendors and getting to plan things with my bridesmaids!
The wedding is just a celebration for the start of a lifetime of happiness with the person you love!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
It actually hasn’t been too stressful for us (yet!) but I am definitely a busybody. I’m enjoying the process. 🙂

What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
I love the way the site looks and the fact that I can use it for guest RSVPs!
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Definitely explore all of the tabs. It wasn’t clear at first how to edit certain sections, but you will be pleasantly surprised when you look into all of them and see the awesome features!
At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?
Getting married, to us, honestly isn’t about the wedding. The wedding is just a celebration for the start of a lifetime of happiness with the person you love!
