A long-standing friendship that began in high school.

7 years!

Several years down the road (7 to be exact!) Wesley finally asked me to marry him. He proposed on the coast at my favorite vacation spot with waves breaking in the background. I of course said YES!

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Wesley says when Thelma finds a cool, new idea and is so excited about it, it’s cute!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
A lot of drinking! Just kidding. We have been together for so long and live in a tight knit community so we have had a lot of help! We just keep reminding ourselves that it is about us and nothing else matters.

What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
The fact that we can give so much more information to our guests than what we would be able to fit on an invitation.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Start early and have fun with it!
