Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
On my birthday, he took me to Rhinefield House in the New Forest which I thought was to celebrate my birthday. We were walking around the beautiful gardens when he got down on one knee and proposed. I was in complete shock and didn’t believe it was actually happening at first!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
We’ve only been planning for the last few weeks, but discussing all the potential things we might do and viewing the venue we actually booked. It all feels so exciting!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We have a year. Knowing what we don’t want takes a lot of the pressure off. We want it to be a relaxed and fun day!
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
Adding the story plus the idea of sharing all the excitement and build up with our guests. Joy is so easy to use!
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
I have only been using Joy for a few days so I need to make sure I’m using all of the features! But, there is help available so it shouldn’t be a problem.
At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?
Although your wedding day is important, it’s not needed to make a marriage work. Focus on your relationship, remember the reasons you are getting married, and don’t sweat the small stuff!
