Joseph proposed on top of the Alps in Switzerland–it was incredible! We spent the day in the ski town of Zermatt, then we caught a train to head 10,000 feet up the Alps to our hotel. On our way to play in the snow, Joseph grabbed me by the hand and led me to a table that was decorated with rose petals and had a gorgeous view of the Matterhorn. Joseph then passed me a Switzerland travel guide. As I flipped through the book I landed on a page that had a small hole cut out that held my engagement ring! Joseph got down on one knee, and asked me to be his wife. I exclaimed “YES”!! Although it’s only been a short while since the proposal, I already look back on that day in disbelief and amazement. I thank God for putting Joseph, his family, and his friends in my life!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Wedding dress shopping with my family!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
For the most part, I’ve been very fortunate to avoid stress because of my supportive family, fiance, and friends. When I do get stressed, Joseph and I talk about everything and spend quality time together.
