Calvin is a musician. He wrote a beautiful song for me and performed it at our residence’s year-end concert. He then called me up on stage in front of 250 of our closest friends, gave me a huge bouquet of flowers, and got down on one knee! Everyone was screaming, but I couldn’t hear any of it. I didn’t think he was being serious because it was a full year earlier than we’d planned! I actually asked, “Is this for real?!” before I said yes. Then he took me out the back door so I could process what just happened, while the screaming continued I’ve never been more surprised in my whole life!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Dress shopping, one hundred percent!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Tackling things early. It’s not stressful if there’s no time crunch!
