How did the two of you meet?
Kevin and Emily met in a TV station newsroom in Shreveport, Louisiana. Emily was an anchor and reporter while Kevin was a meteorologist. The two anchored a weekend newscast together where they tried (and failed) to keep their feelings hidden from viewers. Emily and Kevin frequented markets and festivals throughout the viewing area every weekend and viewers would always approach them saying, “I knew it!”
Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Kevin knew if he proposed in front of anyone, I would kill him. He took me to a park with my (now his adopted) dog, Bugsy. He popped a bottle of chardonnay, got down on one knee, and told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. We’ve been dating for five years, but somehow I was still in a state of shock when he asked! Before saying yes, I asked “Is this real?” multiple times while I cried.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Organization! We have excel documents galore.

Start early! You can always tweak it along the way, as much as you want.
