Mark took a day off work that he knew I wasn’t working and planned a lovely day of surprises. At breakfast, he told me to pack two outfits. One being jeans and closed toe shoes and one to be a nice dress. Off we set and soon arrived at stables where we took two beautiful horses riding through Centennial Park. The weather was perfect and we chatted the whole time. Back on solid ground, we changed into our nicer clothes and drove a short while to the lake side of the park. After walking for a short while, we saw a well-dressed man standing in front of a huge picnic. Just as I realized that Ed Sheeran was playing, Mark dropped to one knee. It was perfect! We spent the afternoon in the sunshine eating our picnic, toasting our champagne and spreading the news to our friends and family.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
The feeling of security that comes with knowing that the man you love, wants to be yours forever.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Remembering what it’s all about. That’s us saying,”I do”.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
Having a beautiful website gave the event further legitimacy! Seeing it all up, in writing.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Every couple is different, it would be hard to offer advice without knowing their circumstances. Maybe, use the Q&A section to the fullest, it’s really helped us!

The idea of forever never made sense until I met Mark. Now it’s time for the next step of our adventure, together.
