We got engaged on July 4, 2018. He popped the question on a boat, cruising the Danube River at night!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Finding the perfect venue! We were lucky that the first one we saw in person, we fell in love with. We connected with the owners and booked it shortly afterward.

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We try to keep it simple. We are not planning a super traditional wedding, so the process becomes more about how we can make every detail fit what we love. Rather than us trying to fit in a “wedding mold”.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
We love the template options for the website builder!

What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Switch out the templates once you write in all of your details so you can see how it changes depending on the aesthetics. Also… add tons of pictures!

The wedding marks a before and after in your life as a couple. It’s the beginning of the rest of your commitment, your plans, your joys and your teamwork toward the future. We are all born alone and we die alone, what matters is what we do in the middle, and who we share that time with.
