Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We went on a quick backcountry ski tour early in the morning, before I had to work. It was super stormy and we couldn’t make it to the top so we stopped part way up. As we were preparing to head back down, Ben set up the camera to take a photo. When I turned around, I first thought he had fallen in the snow… until he asked me to marry him! My response was, “Are you joking? You’re joking, right?” Well, he wasn’t and I said, “Yes!” immediately. We have a video and you can see our skis and snowboard being blown around in the wind while he’s asking.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Trying the desserts and food!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
I don’t look at the big picture, I take it step-by-step. I get overwhelmed if I don’t focus on just one, or a couple of things at a time!
