Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We were on vacation in Paris, France. We had a busy day of site seeing with my good friend who was only in Paris for a couple of days. We woke up early, got chocolate croissants, and headed out for the day! We started at the Trocadéro, which gives you a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. We walked around and took pictures just before my friend asked if we wanted our picture together. We took a couple pictures and I start to walk away. Then I heard him say, “Wait, one more.” He dropped to one knee, I was shocked! I instantly started crying (and regretting not wearing waterproof mascara) and said, “Yes!” It was a true fairy tale, the perfect proposal. Not to mention, the custom rose gold ring from Reiner’s in Houston! It was the best day of my life!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
I am looking forward to picking out a dress!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
I have a great support system of friends. A quick text to them and I already feel better!
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
It’s really easy to use! Even for me who is not very tech-savvy.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
I just started this process but I like using the help option. It’s so easy to use, I haven’t had any problems!
