Sergio proposed at midnight on New Year’s Eve in one of our close friend’s super creepy basements! We are both really relaxed people so it was a perfect way to propose, especially because it was him asking!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
My favorite experience so far has been focusing on all of the joy around us! People are so excited and genuinely happy, even people we may not be that close to. It’s just such a great feeling to be around!

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
I try not to put a lot of pressure on us for the wedding planning. Everyone that has given us advice has been incredibly helpful, and really encouraged us to focus on the experience as a whole. We know it will be amazing and such a great day because, in the end, we will be marrying each other!
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
