How did the two of you meet?
We met in college through the American Marketing Association. We had an event at school and he offered me cotton candy and we became instant friends. Shortly after we co-led a project together and realized we had feelings for eachother. At a national competition in New Orleans, we confessed our love to each other and the rest is history.
Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We took a trip to Europe visiting Rome, Florence, Venice, Paris, it was eventful! He planned a sundown proposal but we had a stop in Portugal on the way to Rome and our flight was delayed. We were at the Portugal airport for hours, the whole time he had the ring in his jacket pocket. We finally got on another flight and ended up getting to Rome late at night, though I was exhausted, he convinced me to get gelato and coins to throw in the Trevi fountain. He asked a nice lady to record a video of us throwing the coin in the fountain. As I closed my eyes to make a wish, he got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. When I opened my eyes, my wish had come true!

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
So far I’ve loved the entire planning process! From the Pinterest boards to the DIY-ing. I love arts and crafts!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Every now and then we ground ourselves and remind each other that this day is for us and for us only. So far we’ve made the wedding what we want and ask everyone around us to respect our choices!
