Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
For our birthdays this past year, Paige and I went on a road trip from our home in Massachusetts down to Key West, Florida. Little did I know, Paige had big plans for us there! We went to a restaurant that was ironically named after our first songs. While there, I noticed Paige was acting odd. Our waiter came over after we finished our meals and offered to bring us a dessert menu. Despite not touching her meal, Paige quickly answered yes. When the waiter came back he handed me a menu and a pencil. I assumed that we were to check off which dessert we wanted. When I started to read the menu it seemed off. As I started to read I noticed that each dessert just happened to be the title of a song that held importance to both of us and our relationship. After a few seconds, it clicked that this was NOT a dessert menu and instead of a fill in the blank set up as a dessert menu! Each song title had a letter missing. At this point, I understood what was happening and started to cry but Paige pushed me to finish! In the end, the letters spelled out “Will you marry me?”! Of course, I said yes and the whole restaurant cheered! She even called ahead to let them know and sent the menu down via mail prior to our trip!
