Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Michael proposed on a beautiful cliff above Cannon Beach. We went on a 4-mile hike in the summer, with no water, and not in hiking clothes. Once we got to the top, I started taking a panoramic picture of the scenery. When I turned around Michael was down on one knee behind me. I was so surprised and so happy!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
I personally loved finding the perfect dress with my mom. We both loved picking out the venue and figuring out the right vibe for our wedding in the north woods of Wisconsin.

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Really take things as they come. Don’t try to do everything at once. We accomplish one task and then move forward to the next. It’s too stressful to do everything at one time!
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
The beautiful layout and simplicity make it perfect for us! We are both architects who appreciate good design and great graphics. Plus, it’s easy to understand for us and our guests.
