At the Festival of Lights in Silverton, Oregon two days before Christmas, Topher proposed. He sneakingly hid the ring box in his peacoat all night until the perfect moment. Nearing the exit, there was a holiday sign of two doves that read, “Peace on Earth.” This sign had caught Melissa’s eye on the way in and she mentioned wanting to take a picture there all night. Topher offered to take her picture next to the glowing doves. After snapping the shot he slyly stated, “Something’s missing…” Fumbling in his pocket as he walked over to her, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She replied with, “What? What?! What?!” she meant to say, “Yes!” In blissful shock, she led him to his feet as his placed the ring on her finger. Cheers and applause broke out around us and a passerby offered to take our picture. It was amazing and perfect!

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Finalizing little details with the decor and specialized items, like engraved champagne bottles, favors, etc.
