Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
My family was visiting from Ohio. We love baseball so we went with Andrew’s family to a Myrtle Beach Pelicans game. Andrew told me his mother wanted a family photo because we were all together, so we dressed up for the game. Once we got there, he told me we were chosen to play a trivia game and we had to get to the dugout. We were told the trivia game was on Bones, which happens to be our favorite tv show! We answered all of the questions and after the last question, I turned around to see Andrew down on one knee. The whole stadium applauded!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Our favorite part has been picking out the wedding venue. It’s a beach house where our friends and family will stay with us for several days to enjoy the wedding celebration!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
My fiancé is so amazing about keeping me grounded, always reminding me to relax and take things one step at a time. He’s always there making my day better when things get to be too much!
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
It is so easy to use and looks amazing! My fiancé loves it as well. It has been so great to use and I love seeing the finished project.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Make sure to check out the everything before finalizing your website. I found so many new things every time I looked on the site. Also, utilize their customer service. They were extremely helpful!
At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?
Andrew continues to remind me of the most important thing, we’ll be married at the end of the day. I’m so lucky and grateful to have found a partner who brings such joy to my life and who allows me to bring joy to his!
