We took the dog for a walk and paused to take a seat at a local park while the dog ran around the ball-field. While parked on the bleachers, Michael got down on one knee and asked, “Will you marry me?”. Safe to say, “Yes” could be heard by the entire neighborhood!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
It’s been completely painless and agreeing on nearly everything had only solidified we’re meant for one another.

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We acknowledge one another’s strengths and weaknesses and appoint each other with different tasks. Sarah is better at organizing, while Mike is better at Pie tasting.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
Joy is easy and wonderful, it puts everything in one place and makes the whole process of giving everyone information, so easy!

As we plan our wedding, we have 19 years of friendship supporting every single decision we make, even if it’s a surprise. We are excited to get married and celebrate with all of our friends. We are more excited to start our lives together, to celebrate us each and every day, and live in the light of the joy it brings us. This, my dear, is the real joy behind marriage.
