Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
While in Costa Maya, Mexico, Summer buried a book in the sand for Steph to find. It was a story of their crazy lives, so far, together. Steph had always told Summer that she could propose with a piece of twine because she knew they had more than enough love between them for the twine to be special! So, at the end of the book, there was a twine ring that Summer had braided for Steph, with the ultimate question written on the page. Once Steph said, “Yes!” Summer got down on one knee and presented Steph with a beautiful diamond ring that included two sapphires from Steph’s grandmother’s wedding ring!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Picking out all of our music and visiting the city where we will begin our lives together!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We started early and only do a little at a time. When it becomes stressful, we walk away from it and come back when we cool down.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
Thinking about all of our memories and sharing them with our friends and family.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Sit down and build your site when you have plenty of time to give it the attention it deserves. Put on some good music, pour an adult beverage, and enjoy reliving your moments!

Any type of fire, be it passion or actual flames, you have to work to keep it going or it will fizzle out. Work every day to be sure your spouse knows you are joyful they are a part of your life!
