Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Jack proposed on New Years Eve day last year. We went sledding in my parent’s backyard in New York, and he said he had to get down on one knee otherwise I wouldn’t have believed him! Only one person knew beforehand. He gave me a meteorite in an engagement ring instead of a diamond. I grew up with my father, being an astronomer, and he knew that I would appreciate that so much more than a traditional ring.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Going to Tuscany, seeing the amazing countryside, eating lots of good food, and doing it all with Jack!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
It hasn’t been crazy so far, maybe that’s because it hasn’t gotten close enough to the actual event. Or, it might be that we are just used to situations where we are under a lot of pressure with our jobs.

What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Make sure to do an FAQ section for your guests so when they all ask you the same questions, you can just tell them to go check the website!
