Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We had found each other and fell in love in Philadelphia, so it only felt appropriate to return for the engagement. Hasib “randomly” ran into me while my sister and I were out to dinner and took me on a stroll through one of our favorite parks. Immediately upon seeing him, dressed up and twitchy, I knew something was up. We strolled through a park and all of a sudden, he was down on one knee, asking me to marry him!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Food tasting! It’s been the most magical part of wedding planning.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Yes, we want to make sure everyone has a blast on this one day. However, it’s not in the details where the magic lies, but in the people, family, and friends.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
I love the way the website looks! I appreciate how smooth and uncluttered the interface is. I also love the word “joy”.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Use the things you want and don’t feel confined to the suggested pages. It’s really nice how you can customize and create the wedding website you want.
At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?
I read once that joy is found in the journey to reaching your potential. I believe joy is found in every day we live and love. Right now, it’s our journey to plan this wedding. Afterward, it’ll be our journey to build and develop our family. It’s present, as long as we keep working and loving.
