Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We couldn’t celebrate on or around the actual date due to our work schedules, so we went out to celebrate our anniversary. He proposed at The Melting Pot. When our waitress brought out our dessert and fruit to be dipped in chocolate, on one of the plates sat a ring box. He knows I’m shy and do not like surprises! So it was the waitress, himself and I when he asked me to be his wife.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
My favorite experience since I started planning this wedding was going to my cake tasting. I was given different options for cake, toppings, and fillings to try. I was also able to see a freehanded sketch of how my cake will look!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
I have an amazing wedding planner, TaQuita Townsend, of Precious Plannings to keep me organized and way ahead of schedule. I also take breaks from wedding planning to enjoy others company and do different activities.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
I am loving the RSVP feature!
