Who proposed?
We planned a mutual proposal and asked each other simultaneously!
Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
The proposal was on the second anniversary of when we “DTR-ed” (defined the relationship). It was Chattanooga’s Pride Week and Zack was participating in an interfaith community worship service that evening (he’s an Episcopal priest). The service was very long and we were eager to get on our way! When it finally ended we went with our friends Meredith and Allison to Taco Mamacita, one of our favorite tex-mex spots in town. After we finished the meal we were both nervous but knew it was time. Before we knew it… we were engaged!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Visiting different venues, planning the ceremony, and browsing for ideas online.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Realizing the only important thing is that the wedding happens!
