I make sure that my couples are focused on each other by giving them prompts that direct their emotions towards each other and reflect their style together. Her philosophy: “By maintaining those rich tones I’m able to make the details pop and catch your eye. My passion for adventure combined with my eye for what type of mood the light outside is creating allows me to capture one of a kind moments that you will cherish forever!”
What she looks for in a clients: “Sessions with me will be filled with lots of love, giggling, hiking and snuggling… all accompanied by my terrible attempts at making jokes. I just want you guys to have a good time hanging out and enjoying each other’s love while I third wheel it with you!”

Organically guided documentary style
Glean and Co. specializes in all fields of photography, not just weddings! She loves to photograph organic moments, especially the ones in between all of the big events.
Her philosophy: “I use a combination of documentary style and guided photography to cultivate an authentic experience and images you can look back on and hopefully feel. My first priority is to make sure couples feel comfortable in front of my camera. I ask a lot of questions because I truly want to understand what they are looking for in a photographer and what is important to them! On the wedding day I’m there to document the day and what is happening, I’m not there the set up and take the ‘perfect photo.’ I also am there to lend a helping hand, grab a bottle of water for the bride, hold the dress, work closely with the other vendors, wipe tears, give hugs, pin on boutonnières, calm nerves—all of the things that are inevitably a part of a wedding.”
What she looks for in a client: “Every couple and their story is different. All of my experience up to this point has taught me a lot about the people side of photographing a wedding. I love building relationships with my couples and being there for their ceremonies. I don’t think there has been one I haven’t cried at yet.”

Her philosophy: “I hope people feel something when they look at my work. I love to have fun and be creative with my clients – it’s my favorite thing! I’m a Graphic Designer by trade so playing with composition, color, and style are super important to me when taking photos; I like to keep my images very clean and modern if I can.”
What she looks for in a client: “I’m drawn to unique people who are adventurous, driven and don’t mind a shoot that’s a little different—just enough room to invite creativity and connectivity to flow. I’m a big fan of destination weddings and elopements! I would love to shoot more! I also just love when couples are really intentional with planning their weddings and adding details that are meaningful to them.”

Kelsey Perkins is a wedding and engagement photographer based out of Boise. She aims for capturing those in-between moments where you’re laughing and having fun together.
Her philosophy: “I would say it’s photojournalistic, trying to capture all the raw moments that happen on your wedding day. I think what makes my photography ‘unique’ is that I like to think about everything from a client’s perspective. What photos are they going to like the most! I also think it’s so important photograph whatever style the bride and groom have instead of focusing on trends, because it is unique and special to them.”
What she looks for in clients: “Something I would love potential clients to know is that I think as a wedding photographer it is important to really get to know your client so that you know what will be special to them, that way you can better document their wedding day for them. I think my favorite experiences have been the delivery of the final photos to my client. They get so excited. It brings so much joy to me knowing that they will cherish these photos forever on one of the most special days of their lives.”
